The intersection of sports and social justice is not new. For decades Black athletes have been vocal on issues affecting our community. However in their efforts to speak up they are often silenced by rhetoric that tells them their primary job is to entertain through sports. In this episode we dive deeper into this matter giving both intra and inter community perspectives.
