If you're like many, some well-deserved days off are just around the corner, with Christmas just days away.

But if you're one of the 800,000 police officers across this country, Christmas Day, New Years Day and every other holiday — those are just another day at the office. Crime doesn't take a day off.

For our look at policing in America, the show is lucky joined by three veteran officers of the hit show "Live PD."

Sheriff Mike Chitwood from Volusia County, Florida, Andrea Zendejas and Chad Ayers join the show.

Lisa McVey Noland was abducted by a serial killer when she was 17 years old. She was the only one of his victims that got away and even helped catch him. The story was so incredible it was made into a film called "Believe Me: The Abduction of Lisa McVey." It was released in 2018 and sparked new interest in the case in the U.S. and around the world.

She joins "Banfield" to discuss her escape.

As holiday mail deliveries continue to pile up on doorsteps, police are warning of thieves who might see an unaccompanied package as a business opportunity.
