I want to share with you an app/WordPress plugin that you can use to export your YouTube video speech text. Content Gorilla is really easy to use and I actually use it to improve my SEO with this podcast. If this is something that you need, make sure to try it out. Also, this is not an affiliate link, it's just a app/plugin that I use.
Welcome to Casey's SEO today, i just want to fill you guys in with one plug-in that I'm using for WordPress that actually helps me out quite a bit for basically stuff. You would never really want, but it is very, very useful and this plugin is content gorilla. So i bought this off of one of those clickbank marketing type of people. Sometimes you can run into a good plug-in off of clickbank other times, not so much. But the nice thing is uh.
You do get a uh, basically a free trial. You have to pay, but they will give you your money back. I think you have 30 days to get your money back if you do not like one of the plugins or programs, and I've actually done that a few times, but this plugin content gorilla. It works with with YouTube, so there is an actual website. You can go on there, there's an app you can find or you can get the link to essentially any video off of YouTube put it into this app and then you can pull all of the um.
The speech the captions and it actually works, it works pretty. Well, i mean it. Obviously, it takes you know you're using YouTube's, caption creator and then you're just exporting it out. You can go through and add, punctuation, add paragraphs, and i think you can even do some spelling and grammar. Not all of it works that great, but in the matter of seconds that it takes, you can go through, spend a few minutes, make any corrections.
If you want to add any links or anything like that, you can go ahead and and put all that stuff in on your own time. But what you can do from there is, if, if you want to take a video of yours or somebody else's embed it to a web page, you can do that and then you can put all the text below and it gives you a lot more content and It should help out with your SEO, but where i am using it right now is actually for this podcast. So I'll go ahead and put these podcasts up onto YouTube and then i will export the the text and then i will load it up and into the podcast, and so I've noticed it seems like well when i, when i do this, my SEO for the podcast. Actually helps out quite a bit. I am pulling some days, i might be getting you know, 200 impressions.
It could be 50 impressions. I think I've had as high as like 800 impressions for a particular podcast and that's essentially just for spending. You know five minutes exporting the the podcast uploading it to YouTube, copying that text and then putting it back into the podcast. So very, very simple, so i will leave a link in the description just in case you want to check it out. Maybe you want to purchase it, i believe at the time when i bought it, it's probably still the same price.
It was like 20 or 30 dollars really cheap. It works pretty well, and it will save you a lot of a lot of time if you're looking to take the words from your you tube, video and putting it into a webpage. So that is it for today, and we will talk to you again about another SEO topic here shortly.
