Eccl 07:01. A good name is better than precious ointment. Ps 112:06 Righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. Remembering memories of the righteous loved ones is always a blessing. We see many Christians start off strongly in their Christian life and then walk away and lose the fire. So many commit themselves in fulfilling the great commission but never remain true to their calling in the later years of their lives. They lose their zeal and fire and become lukewarm turning the ministry to their own benefits. But, but, there are few Evangelists and Missionaries who had the consistent powerful testimony from the begining .... till the last... The two giants of faith and their ministry since early 19th century who met in two different occasions in India. The way they impacted the world through their obedience to God’s call is amazing. We can see the fruit of their ministry all around the globe. One of these men of God who entered the glory recently has been George Verwer, Founder of Operation Mobilization, who impacted the world with literature distribution ministry.He died peacefully at his home with his wife Drena, daughter Christa and a good family friend Cathy Rendal by his side.The other servant of God whose testimony has been powerful and consistent till the end is Bro. Bhakth Singh, (1903- 2000.)Founder of Hebron Fellowship, a humble man of God who raised more than 10000 churches, and had a powerful and clean testimony all through his life.Coming back to George Viewer, he has gone to be with the Lord at the age of 84 on April 14, 2023. We praise God for his radical life devoted to sharing God's love worldwide. There was a woman named Dorothea Clapp who began to pray for George. She put him on her hit list Prayer. And began to pray that he be saved. And that woman's prayer had an affect on this young man's life. Three years after that he went to Billy Graham Crusade got saved, and got the fire of the Holy Spirit like the apostles in the Bible. He began to evangalise, and the rest is history. He began to lead people to Christ and began to mobilise others. He took a spring break from college sort off Christmas break and went to Mexico and began to share the gospel. And this was the birth which began to be known as "Operation Mobilisation." Man of love,Man of action,Man of strategy and wisdom and mobilised people. His energy, his passion and his compassion has impacted millions around the globe.Under George’s exuberant leadership and fuelled by the passion of believers from many nations to reach those who had never heard the Good News, OM expanded in the 60s, 70s and 80s: first, across Europe and into the Middle East, then with volunteers crewing ocean-going ships. Logos, the first of five vessels, was launched in 1971, and since then more than 49 million people have visited the onboard book fairs, with over 70 million portions of Scripture distributed during port calls in 151 countries.If we are true and sincere to the calling God has given us and not our own calling, then we can see such great men of God being used by God.Have a blessed and joyful time!💐🌹🙋Benedict James
