Freedom from darkness, freedom from oppression, freedom from slavery, freedom from doubts fears and anxieties. Where there is a candle 🕯 burning there is light. Where there is fire 🔥 burning there is heat and light. Where is the presence of Christ, there is light to guide us to right direction and right choices. There is a saying, "Happiest people are those who are dumb and blind. They are mostly out of sin. They cannot gossip, cannot use grievous and hurtful words, cannot involve in evil discussions.And they cannot see the dark side of the world and it's allurments. What is freedom Paul is talking about? Freedom from enslaving power of sin, darkness and from eternal damnation. The enemy uses every opportunity to enslave us into sin especially through our eyes and tongue. The more we are closer to the Lord in His presence there is power within us, joy, hope and we walk in His light making right and timely choices and decisions. I believe a right decision at the wrong time is also not right. A right decision at the right time ⏲️ is right. Every day we make so many choices in life, what to do, what to see, and decisions we take. Help us dear Lord to always long to have your presence with us through your divine Word, our prayers and fellowship so that thy light dispels the darkness in us and leads and guides us to take right choices and decisions as per your plan in our lives.
