In this New Year, 2022, Let us raise Our Faith levels, And strive to work hard without giving up.
"The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the begining of true faith is the end of anxiety." - George Muller.
At the begining of the new year, various experts give their predictions about the economics, politics, pandemics, sports, predictions of capturing back the promised Palestinian land by Israel, war or peace, promotions and host of other topics. And last but not least our new resolutions, goals and vision. Those who do not have vision will perish.
The power to succeed to execute our plans, to fulfil our goals and targets depends on our Three D's. Desire. Determination. Discipline.
Welcoming the New Year, there are millions of people all over the universe setting goals, writing down the plans, and passionate Christians determined to live victorious holy life...
But as the buzz of New year ebbs out, slowly the steam in the life fizzles out due to either lack of strong will power or desire. And as the challenges of valley experiences increase, slowly the desire, discipline and determination takes back seat due to lack of trust in themselves and lack of faith in God. In the mid of these challenges, all the resolutions and goals take back seat and plans remain on paper without execution. This happens mainly because of two reasons. 1) lack of faith in God and confidence in themselves to attempt.
2) lack of Gumption and discipline. Procastination is one of the greatest hurdle for us to succeed.
So, in this new year, let us first put our faith in the Lord to face the unknown, to face the day to day challenges, and to face sudden storms of hurricane proportions.
Here are few guidelines from the Word of God in this New year and quotes on "faith."
Prov. 3: 5 & 6. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths.
if we desire to please God, we need to put our faith in Him even during adversities. Because "without faith it's impossible to please God" says in Heb. 11:6.
Also in order to succeed, alongwith faith our works must match and balance our faith. Word of God says, "Faith without works is dead." - James 2:26. Many fail because they say, they have faith but fail to work hard.
