Happiness Disappears When We Face Severe Trials. Joy In A Child Of God Always Overflows To Praise Him Even Amidst Severe Troubles And Trials To Praise Him.

We have seen in yesterday's passage from 1st chapter, prophet Habakkuk questioned God as he was disturbed and struggles in his faith when he sees men fragrantly violate God's law and distort justice on every level, without fear of any divine intervention. The nation of Judah stubbornly refuses to change her sinful ways. The present christian world is no better.

Though he began by questioning God, he concludes his book and his life with a psalm of beautiful Praise acknowledging the Lord's divine power, His wisdom and His redemptive plan.

Pl read Habakkuk. 03: 17 to 19. Though the fig tree may not blossom, ..... And they be no herds in the stall - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

As we discussed yesterday, the name habaq means "One Who Embraces" or "Clings." So, at the end of the book, this name becomes appropriate because Habakkuk chooses to cling firmly to God regardless of what happens.

Though how we start of life and race is important, but how we are now is more important and how we end our race and life is most important.
