Sun & Stories: Recent Episodes

Niko H.

Hi world! I'm Niko. This Podcast, Sun & Stories, is going to host short stories written by yours truly, content about history (Japanese, Irish & German) and just generally stuff I find interesting. Of Sun Rays and Fae Plays is a queer friendly podcast segment, but it's meant for listeners of all kinds. If you've got any questions feel free to send me a voice message on anchor https://anchor.fm/lightcoder02/message.

So... It's been a while. But due to some new developments and a bit of a new plan... Maybe, just maybe... I'll finally release some content rather than yet another check in. Hang in with me y'all, I promise it'll happen. Eventually.

On a whim, I decided to get something out and let you guys know I'm still alive (for better or worse). I might consider interspersing short, just talking episodes on random topics now and again just to start getting something, anything, out to y'all. (By the way, there should be a question thing below this that you can answer, at least for Spotify users.) Also, if you can't listen to the episode on mobile because it hasn't shown up in the actual podcast feed yet, just go to notifications, add it to your saved episodes, and play it from there. Been having that problem myself lately with new episodes of podcasts.

Hi guys, this is my very first episode. I'm new to podcasting, but not new to podcasts. Today I'm going to go over what this show is about (short stories), the content of those stories and all the various introductory odds and ends. As an aside, I should mention that this idea is not wholly original. While I am in no way affiliated with them, I was inspired strongly by the Patchwork Fairytales Podcast. I would seriously recommend giving it a listen, it's some of the best short stories I've ever encountered, and they happen to have queer elements here and there too. So if you're looking for inclusive bed time stories for all ages, that's the place to go. You'll probably end up with that wonderful warm-fuzzy feeling by the end of their first episode. https://open.spotify.com/show/2bsgejSQfiYkCW4wmyTz3I?si=89i5-BzTQtiJtLGG44kWBg&utm_source=copy-link
