The fear of people is something we all experience. We worry about what people think of us or what people might do to us. This can be a huge barrier to following Jesus as attachment to him inevitably invites disapproval, opposition and persecution. But Jesus teaches us that the fear of others is overcome by a greater fear—the fear of God.
