Svietlana hanging out with the new elephant.With Akane’s luck of bringing home an elephant and Maria saving it from its abusive owner, a certain someone pays a visit out of nowhere and he somehow knows Mizuka. Is it part of Maria’s plans?

Rin making sure she won’t have a repeat of what happened before.Before the present, there is a flashback to ask about Rin calling about the performance venue. After all, she wants to make sure venue won’t get snatched away. She asked for conditions so it won’t happen again. Thankfully, Rin paid a small portion for the reservation, so some other Circus troupe won’t swoop in and snatch it from them. Rin eventually informs the girls that this is the case, so it should give some peace and mind.

Ouka fangirling the Back Lotus troupe.Back to the present, the girls see a newspaper article that Sumeragi surpasses Lotus Circus. They found out that Lotus won 5 times straight in the Circus Collection. They eventually talked about Black Lotus’s partner, Aiden Mitscher. Apparently, Ouka knows about him, which is not too surprising since she is a big fan of Black Lotus. Of course, when she says if she could find a catcher like him, she would be over the moon.

Funny when Ouka says “over the moon” twice to get Mizuka’s attention, Mizuka is not amused at all. It reminded her of the bad times she had with her father. Funny how they finally realize that Mizuka is the daughter of Black Lotus after all this time. Rin is surprised that Mizuka never mentioned it, but it’s important for the future of Himawari after all.

Marika obviously have connections.During the evening, Svietlana and Shizuku mentioned it to Rin and Maria. She finally came clean about Mizuka as Black Lotus entrusted her with his daughter. Sadly, the debt part is still true, which is not surprising since she fell into the debt trap trying to help Imari. Apparently, Maria has all the connections, which is news to Svietlana and Shizuku as she views Mizuka as an asset to get Himawari out of debt. Well, that is if Muzka is willing to do circus work, but she seems very reluctant to do so.

Ouka wants to ask more about Miuzka’s relationship with Black Lotus.Meanwhile, Mizuka is reading a book when Ouka comes in. She of course reading the picture book called The Wizard of Oz. In a way, it’s not too surprising to relate to this book given her situation. Of course, Ouka reveals that she is a big fan of Black Lotus and there is no surprise why she figured something special about her performance with Mizuka. Ouka knows that Mizuka is Black Lotus’s daughter, which is no wonder she felt something special in Mizuka. When she said that, Mizuka was fast asleep.

A certain someone appeared who really missed Mizuka.Mizuka is not amused to see Mitcher.The next morning, the girls were brushing their teeth when a handsome blonde hair guy came by and picked up Mizuka. It’s Mitscher, one of Black Lotus’s partners. He looks older, of course, but familiar. Obviously, Mizuka is not happy at all to see him as he picked her up, threw her, and caught her in the air. Seeing the girls’ reaction was amazing, although it’s obvious that Mitcher came to check up on Mizuka, of course. As Mizuka wants to go shopping than deal with him.

I can see why Mizuka is taumatized.While she is away, the girls share how useful Mizuka is in helping their circus. They mention Mizuka performs, as they wonder why she hates circus stuff and the trauma. Of course, Mitcher does some training from hell with having Imari stand still as he targets the apples in a magic trick. Of course, he basically traumatized almost of the girls as he does cordless bungles, throwing girls, and spinning them. I guess they got a taste of why Mizuka hates performing in a circus.

After flying with Mitcher, she is really in fangirl mode.Of course, Ouka who asks Mitcher to do an aerial act with her. While he denied her at first, Maria did her magic to change his mind. She got her wish and well it was a unique experience. Mitcher got to see Ouka’s potential. Shizuku admits that she was a bad influence on Ouka before Mizuka came along. Shizuku and Svietlana did her performance for Mitcher to critique.

Mitcher admits that Mizuka isn’t good enough at the coaching stuff.With some suggestions, Shizuku’s and Svietlana’s performance is even better.As expected, while Mizuka came back and thinks the performance is okay, Mitcher of course sees that something is lacking. After telling what he suggests, their performance turned out better than before. That is when Mitcher spilled the beans calling Svietlana by her last name as she competed in the Circus Collection before. That is when Maria’s connections come into play as in being the underdogs that can possibly get to the Circus Collection finals one day. With the A-team they have, they can also get rid of the debt that is burdening them.

The girls become surprised that Maria has all the connections.However, Mitcher thinks that Mizuka has what it takes to coach and would rather see her perform on stage. Obviously, she doesn’t want to, as she is adamant, even after 5 episodes and being forced to perform to not perform at all. Mitcher points out that Mizuka is being rude, but we probably know why she feels this way. It’s about her father taking the place she held so dear. I guess this can explain the parallels to The Wizard of Oz.

Knowing that Mizuka might leave if she takes Mitcher’s offer to pay off her debt, Ouka can’t let her leave so easily.Things get a bit tense between Mizuka and Mitcher. I wonder how things will play out.In the end, Mizuka feels trapped into performing for Himawari against her will because of that debt. However, Mitcher will pay it off. Funny how Ouka convinces her to pay in installments instead, so Mizuka would stay longer. Still, things are contentious with Mizuka, with Mitcher as he doesn’t think Mizuka understands what circus is about. He will help her. Also, I wonder what is up with Maria and how she can assemble a talent team of young women with the connections she has. I guess the mystery deepens.
