This week we discuss the case of Benjamin Houghton, an Air Force veteran diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1989. For fear of cancer returning after remission through chemotherapy, Benjamin decided to go forward with an operation to remove his atrophied left testicle. After going under the knife though, we find out that the healthy right testicle was removed, leading to a slew of health problems that only $200,000 in malpractice settlement could fix.
