This episode aptly titled The Variant, is considered to be the best episode in the series and man does it deliver. Loki and Mobius get closer. They track down the Variant in the year 2050 and it turns out to be a female version of Loki (Lady Loki played by Sophia di Martino) and the episode ends on a huge cliffhanger.
