Episode 8: A Conversation with Russell Levy

In this episode, Lee sits down with Russell Levy, a Veterans Employment Specialist with 9 years of experience helping transitioning service members and veterans achieve their goals though career development, education planning, and obtaining veteran benefits.

Russell is the President of Veterans Transition Support, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that bridges the gap between military service and civilian life by providing active duty military personnel, reservists, national guard, veterans and military spouses with job training to fill skill gaps and adapt military experience into industry recognized certifications and credentials.

In this episode, Russell reflects on his personal experiences and challenges while transitioning careers and shares how he persevered and ultimately, came to work with the military community, by providing services that have an immediate positive impact on the transitioning service member and their families.
