During a time of socially distanced creativity, we have teamed up with Austin based photographer Julie Ann Thompson to feature a story on each of the Evolve Models. During the pandemic we have done our best to find new ways to aid in the development of each of our model’s brand from home. All of the photos in this feature are through FaceTime!

Clarice is from Raleigh, North Carolina. She is 18 years old and just graduated high school. She plans to go to college in the fall and is looking forward to traveling for her modeling career when opportunity arises.

She was scouted on instagram by Evolve scout Jen Peck. After she sent in basic snapshots taken with her phone she met the team at the agency in New York. Shortly after she was offered a contract and signed in November of 2019 with Evolve and Next Models.

She took an interest in modeling after she was scouted because of her love for photography. She is a newer model, most of her photo shoots have been through FaceTime because of the pandemic of 2020. She feels that she has learned a lot about being behind the camera through the FaceTime shoots as she is able to be a part of the creative process.

Clarice aspires to fight against climate change. She plans to study biology and environmental to dedicate a career to stopping climate change. She also plans to get as far as her modeling career will take her.

Clarice loves to make people laugh, she intends to use her social media platforms to emphasize positivity. Her advice for young women during this time is to not listen to other peoples opinions; “One-hundred percent just believe in who you are, and know who you are as you go forward and don’t doubt no matter what anybody else says, that you’re not good enough or you need to change. It will make all the difference in the world if you truly believe that.”

Book Reccommendation: “My favorite book is one I read in middle school, The Martian by Andy Weir. I love science and this book did such a good job with the science and math aspects. The movie was amazing too, which is pretty rare.”
