My podcast hadn't started until after one of our church choir tenors, Bill Gant, passed away. I was told that his favorite hymn was "It Is Well with My Soul."

I have a few arrangements of this in my library, but one is by Dino Kartsonakis that is arranged for piano and orchestra, and includes portions of Pachelbel's "Canon in D". The word "canon" was used for Biblical rules. Things like the Ten Commandments. Even though I don't have an orchestra to help me, I love this arrangement, because it's such a great reminder that if we're striving to follow the Bible, "It Is Well" will keep taking place in our lives forever and always, no matter what. I'm playing it while trying to combine the orchestral parts, as best I can.
