I once lived in a small town, Sandwich, IL, and played with a country band called Bub and His Boys. A favorite song of Bub is “Last Date”. This is a slow, sad themed song, that is played using the “slip note” technique, which is a Nashville style. As a sad song, it reminds us that we all can have a bad day. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed”. If you are having a bad day, I pray that tomorrow will be brighter day for you.
