Do your actions affect others? Are your choices impacting others? If you answered NO, to either of those questions, then you have probably caused much damage in your world, or the world of those who share your world. Do you understand for every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction? Newton’s third law of motion has proven the test of time since he first stated it in 1686. Our actions, our choices, have an effect on others. We are all part of the HUMAN SYSTEM.
Today on Like It Matters Radio Mr. Black is going to talk about the interconnectivity of a system. The ‘Supply Chain’ is a system! A system is defined as a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or interconnected network. As a human race our actions, choices and Decisions have a ripple effect on others. It was famous writer John Donne in his Mediation no. 17 who penned the prose, “No Man is an Island Entire of Itself.” In other words we were not made to be alone, we are part of a system called humanity. Our actions have an effect on others. Many of us live in our own world, thinking our Words, Actions, Thoughts, Character and Habits are solely ours and have a limited, or no-effect, on our world, on our system. All systems need to be regularly analyzed in order to define its goals or purposes and to discover operations and procedures for accomplishing them most efficiently. Today we want to take a peek behind the scenes and talk to the crisis within the Supply Chain. There is so much misinformation, today we will show how it is one system, dependent on many intertwined factors.
