On today's Podcast of Living Life Like It Matters, Mr. Black discusses what moves us as individuals! It is said that a quality of a good leader is the ability to move people in a productive way. The word that is used is MOTIVATE.  If you fancy yourself as a Leader, then you are in the people business, no matter your field of compensation. We must know people, how people work, what motivates people, and what demotivates people, or shuts us down. I continually say\question, “If I can understand you a bit better, and you can understand me a bit better- doesn’t it make sense we are in a position to have a better relationship”?  The secret to motivation is knowing what people want.  When you know what people want, we can motivate them by helping them get what they want.  Part of the understanding of motivating people comes with the realization that we all wear a hat with the initials: WIIFM- What's In It For Me?
