I was so pissed off about the fan reaction after the game that it totally dominated the first half of the show, we are back and this time we actually talk about the game a little plus big recruiting news, coaching news and predictions!
The anticipation is building. Dawg fans are hunkered down down like kids on Christmas Eve. They've been told for 2 months that Santa is not making a stop in Dawgnation this Championship season. We've all heard it, how can a team that couldn't beat a lowly Gamecock team beat ranked teams like Florida and Auburn? Media, players of the past, and scores of fans all touched on the shortcomings. Maybe their egos were bigger than their ability?
Mr. Former Player, just for the record, egos were checked at the door in fall camp. You can't convince me otherwise. A brutal loss in a game Georgia should have won going away, followed by a stadium of boos at home in a drenched shut out of an SEC east foe is a great test of egos. Prove me wrong?
Let me go ahead and do it for all of you. Our QB is all of a sudden no good, our O-Line can't block, Wide Receivers have hands of stone, our play calling is as predictable as a Georgia victory in Jacksonville, and if you don't agree you're a "Disney Dawg". You guys almost nailed the last one. Disney, "Where Dreams Come True".
While we were busy dreaming, this staff and team had little time to sleep. After the loss to South Carolina there was no room for error. The Bulldogs tightened up their cleats and went on a remarkable 6-0 run to finish the regular season. Dispatching of #6 ranked Florida and #12 Auburn both away from Sanford stadium. In those last 6 games a very stingy Georgia defense only allowed 8.5 points a game while pitching 2 more shutouts. That, my friends, is elite.
This season hasn't been sexy. In fact it has been quite the opposite. The workman-like attitude of Coach Smart has translated onto the field. These Dawgs are not scared to get dirty and grind it out. They bring it all on the field and leave it there. They've earned the right to play in their 3rd consecutive SECCG. While they may not have gotten it done the way some wanted, they got it the way they could. That effort deserves the support of every single Dawg fan and former player.
Set those clocks Dawg fans, tomorrow we paint the Benz Red. See you guys in Atlanta, and as always, Go Dawgs!

So, just when you thought we may never do another show, we're back! Updates on work ethic, J. Rivers Walsh, greatest game ever, and a new contest...only 48 days til kickoff! and I fixed the whole "get gold" comment thing (I think!)And, by the way, the delay between shows had everything to do with technical difficulties, the main show production computer went down and I really had lots of trouble re-assembling all of the pieces. Great game, great season, 10-2 seemed like a distant dream and now we're here. BCS bound and looking forward to next year. And, by the way, Munson has lost it. Completely.
UGA vs. The Nerd Herd---Lots riding on this one, lots of recruits looking in and lots of people hoping for 7 in a row against the Geeks(first time ever, when we get it done!) All you need to know is that theyre gonna try to run the ball and their QB is a guy who wasnt as good as Reggie Ball. And to be fair, a disclaimer when we finished recording this show, Old Dawg said "man, that show sucked!"

Stafford is all over the place and could care less about it. Chandler and Goodman have some great catches but who really gives a crap in a loss like this....

Well, we couldn't let this one go by without a tribute show. James Brown was an incredibly influential musical artist who won Grammy for lifetime achievement 14 years AGO and still had a crazy touring schedule as the "hardest working man in show business" AND who also just happened to be a huge Dawg Fan. In spite of all his success, he always remained a faithful and "regular" fan. Never hitting the sideline media circuit to promote his work, but rather sitting in regular seats with the rest of the Bulldog Nation. A great Dawg till the end.

Matt Stafford is 3-0 as a starter and we cover the good points, the bad coverages and the ugly special teams. Our offense is getting better and our defense seems to be getting worse. It's back to work for the Dawgs. Thankfully, no one got hurt or arrested over spring break. They're getting back to work and we are there to cover it for you. Let's get ready for the spring game!
Its Spring Break and all good Dawgs are at the beach. So, we dont have much news. We're watching the Police Blotter and local bars very diligently.
There is, however, still some very bad news. Bill Hartman is dead. He was a great man and a great Bulldog and he will be missed terribly by the DawgNation and the entire college football community.
Sad Day.

UGA vs Auburn Post-Game-- One of our better shows, but still hard to listen to. We Lose this one on a big 4th and 11 play. Very tough game, tough post game (we start to see the cracks that WVU would later exploit in the Sugar Bowl)

Well, we lost. That's it. We just lost. Play calling was unimaginative, defense bounced back and shut Meyer/Leak down for three quarters.
Coutu has worst game of career. Joe T did his best.
In spite of all that, we're still in control of our destiny. We're still in the driver seat for the SEC Championship! At the end of the day, thats all that matters. Buck up, dammit
UGA vs. Florida Pre-Game--
We make a strong comeback from our injury and get the computer back up and running.
We cover the keys to victory in the big game. Breaking down how we think JT3 is going to perform. and other things we need to do to get the win.

Critical victory! Dawgs look great, give up some big yards against the run but we hold em off...
In a hard week for the DawgCast, we lose Shockley and our Hard Drive on the Showbiz Computer... Where's Episode 7? Who knows! We had to phone these shows in from an audio-blogger platform! We could only record five minutes at a time, so we split it up into two parts.
UGA vs Vanderbilt Post-Game 34-17
Boring game, but we make the best of it for you. By fans, for fan--the show continues to grow.
Cutler looks good and comes well prepared but we win big in a very workman-like victory. Nothing so flashy but a solid win coming off a huge victory at Tennessee. No letdowns here, baby!
