Happy New Year Sis! As we begin chasing our 2022 goals, I want to encourage us both to drop the arbitrary timelines we've set for ourselves. We can make all the plans and do all the preparation, but an important part of the journey is patience. There's so much to enjoy (and still do) in the waiting season, but if we get caught up in the destination alone, we miss so much in front of us at this present moment. In this episode, I share 4 dangers of placing undeveloped expectations on ourselves (that often stem from childhood... can you imagine upholding an expectation that a 10-year-old has for your 30-year-old life?). But I don't stop there. I also share 4 ways to pivot from those self-imposed timelines and expectations.
Looking ahead, Season 3 will lean heavily toward self discovery, while leaving room for the unexpected gems. I hope you'll join me and more importantly, get the inspiration and tools you've been looking for to find your stride!
