Email marketing is a cost-effective way to market to your audience. There are two main ways to use email marketing: promoting your own products and promoting affiliate products. Conventional email marketing advice may not always work, so it's important to find what works best for your own list and prospects. Here are six unconventional email marketing tips: 1) Use plain text emails for higher open and click rates. 2) Use selective capitals in subject lines to make them stand out. 3) Keep the email body short and curiosity-oriented. 4) Use a clear and obvious pitch instead of warming up with content. 5) Mail your list every day or even more frequently to stay top of mind. 6) Reuse winning emails to maximize results. Test and adapt your approach to find what works best for your business and list.

Entrepreneurs often struggle with work-life balance due to the increasing demands of their businesses and personal lives. Traditional to-do lists are ineffective in managing these demands, leading to a constant feeling of overwhelm. To address this, the speaker introduces the concept of 'buckets' to achieve balance. Each bucket represents a different area of life, such as physical health, emotional well-being, social connections, and business. By allocating time to each bucket and prioritizing tasks within them, entrepreneurs can ensure that all important aspects of their lives receive attention. This approach helps in maintaining balance and avoiding the feeling of constantly playing catch-up.

As human beings we are capable of doing tremendous things. Yet sometimes we get worn down by life or complacent and become like the elephant in captivity on a thin rope--the elephant could snap the rope in one tug and escape, but because when they were young they weren't strong enough to do it, they mistakenly believe they never can. If we believe we can achieve any goal we set, assemble the right team if needed, put in the work, and break it into smaller chunks, then we can do things once thought impossible. Like the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team, we can create our own miracles.

Using schedules in our work and our lives can seem stifling, limiting, and confining. But, paradoxically, the reality is actually the opposite. When we know what we need to do, we can plan accordingly and be the masters of our time instead of being mastered by it. Entrepreneurs and business owners have a built-in independence and belief we can do anything, which is a blessing and a curse. We can get a lot done and do things most people think are impossible, but we can also get stuck feeling like we need to solve all of our problems on our own. Joining a mastermind group allows us to share our experiences which is healthier, but it also provides us insights, advice, tactics and strategies that maybe we would not have thought of on our own. When we understand how transformative a mastermind group can be and embrace it, we can become happier, more fulfilled, and more successful too.

Happiness is a choice and a state of being, not a destination. If we spend our days focusing on the bad stuff around us and the things we don't have or others do, we will end up feeling frustrated, unhappy, and always searching or reaching for something we'll never get. If instead we recognize the people and things in our lives we are grateful for, and we decide to live in the moment and experience life, we can feel happy and fulfilled every single day.

Having our products and services available around the clock 365 days a year has some logical appeal and expands our potential for sales. But the reality is, demand for products, the prices people will pay, and the lengths they will go to all skyrocket when there is scarcity or FOMO--fear of missing out--as they say. We need to find ways to inject scarcity into our offers--limited time, limited number, or some special benefit that is only available for a limited time. When we do that, we can increase demand for our products and services and actually make more sales by offering less.

Buying is an emotional thing. When we switch our perspective from trying to sell to understanding why people buy, we can tap into the eight primary motivations we have as humans. When we show how our product or service helps satisfy one or more of those motivations, we create desire and demand for our product and don't need strong-arm tactics or hard selling to grow sales. People hate to be sold but they love to buy. When we help them feel one or more of the eight motivations, we will get more buyers without needing more advertising or promotion.

As entrepreneurs and business owners, we want to maximize our sales and profits. We believe in our products and services, but our excitement and enthusiasm alone are not always enough to make the sale. Our prospects aren't as bought in as we are, and they often have objections to buying because they want to be sure they are getting an actual benefit or solution to their problem. Most objections fall into seven main categories, so if we think about those in advance, we can build solutions for them into our marketing and make our ads, pitches, and campaigns as effective as possible.

Entrepreneurs will always feel the pull to do more. But we are human and not machines, so we can't work around the clock everyday without breaking down physically, mentally, or emotionally. So instead of focusing on productivity which usually equates to working harder or longer to be more productive ourselves, we should focus on efficiency and throughput. What is the simplest and fastest way to get each task done? When we look through that lens we can achieve both greater balance and performance, and in turn transform our workdays, our businesses, and our lives.

Taking action might seem like a simple, low level thing that's common sense. But actually it's far more profound because it has the power to literally transform us--our feelings and emotions, our sense of self worth, our confidence, our abilities, and of course our results and accomplishments. When we're feeling stuck or unsure about something, taking action is the quickest way to break through that. Because whether the action itself gets us through it, or the act of taking action leads us to new revelations, either way we're moving forward toward our goals.

In this digital age it's easy to transact our daily activities and communicate with others. And AI or artificial intelligence has made creating content fast and easy. The real way to stand out is not to become another copycat and push out fake or machine-generated content, but rather to be real, be authentic, and be yourself. Authenticity is what attracts people to us, and that's how we find our people and the place we belong. When we are true to who we are, everything comes more naturally because it's real, and that in turn brings us greater peace, happiness, and success.

Sales funnels have the power to multiply sales 2X, 3X, even 5X or more by getting a larger number of people to buy the front end or main product at a low price and then instantly showing them offers to upgrade and unlock more features or benefits with upsells. Goal setting has a proven positive impact on human performance and achievement. But there has been a lot of debate about how to actually set goals and whether we should share them with others or keep them private. Based on research, it seems that sharing our goals with people we look up to and respect has the greatest chance of helping us reach them, but in the end it's a personal decision and we should all do what works best for us as individuals.

In digital marketing it's easy to collect a lot of digital stuff because the footprint is small and stored easily. Often times we end up with more stuff than we can ever optimize or see through to completion, so it may make sense to flip our websites. We turn an unused digital asset into cash, and the buyer gets a premade website ready to grow and optimize so it's a real win-win. Even if we don't have websites ready to flip right now, it's still great to know there is a profitable exit strategy when we do.

Struggles, setbacks, challenges, and adversity are all part of life and business. As much as we don't like them, paradoxically they present a tremendous opportunity to grow and evolve. Because in times of adversity we are forced to make decisions, take action, and change the way we think to solve problems. So instead of fighting against having adversity which is inevitable, if we embrace it and work through it we can come out stronger, tougher, and more successful.

By using reciprocity, while it's no silver bullet to solve every problem, it helps us feel balanced in our relationships so we can feel good about ourselves and people in our lives. It also helps us recognize the people we can really count on and that we should go above and beyond to help when they are in need too. Happy, healthy, balanced relationships are a fundamental key to a successful and fulfilling life, and the law of reciprocity can help us to achieve that.

Our websites are our 24x7 online salespeople, so we want to make sure they are working at their best to deliver maximum traffic, leads, and sales. While on page content and visual appeal are important, they are not enough to guarantee results. People won't wait for our sites to load no matter how good the are, so we need to optimize for page loading speed. And most people now use mobile devices to access online content, so we also need to make sure our sites are mobile responsive. If we optimize our websites for those two factors we can be confident they will deliver results.

What we experience or are exposed to affects the way we see the world. For better or worse, and true or false, our beliefs that we develop through experience impact how we live, what we think we're capable of, and ultimately our life's trajectory and what we accomplish and become. Whether our goal is to optimize SEO and get on page one of Google's search rankings, or if we are focused on building an audience around our message, brand, product, and services, it's clear that original content is the key and the way of the future. In these cases it's best to take a deep breath, and compartmentalize--think about what the #1 MOST important thing to get done is and focus 100% on that. When we start a business, we think about the freedom we'll have by being our own boss. The reality, though, is we often work more and make less and all of our time is consumed by it, at least in the beginning.
If you're spending most of your time on the operations of your business, you're actually trading time for money which is really just a job. If your business can run daily operations without you and still be profitable, you have a business.
There's a very simple way to tell where you are with your business now, and a simple way to get to where you want to be.
As entrepreneurs and business owners, we are all leaders. Whether we lead people or just visions and strategies, we are responsible for making it happen. Because we are so passionate, sometimes we assume that that alone is enough to make it work. These 4 leadership rules will help you start and keep growing.

Email marketing can be among the most profitable digital marketing methods you can use. But if you don't do it right, your messages can get trapped in SPAM, or worse your entire account can get shut down.
My own email has been a consistent, reliable source of affiliate income for years until recently when it got shut down suddenly. I struggled to get it back up and running, and I was able to eventually optimize it to get better results than I had before.
Here's how to maximize your opens and clicks, and at the same time protect your accounts to make sure you can keep sending without issues.

Affiliate marketing as a promotion method for your products and services has a lot of benefits. You have no upfront promotion costs, loyal affiliates will promote every product or service you offer, and you can tap into networks of affiliates that are already in place and waiting for you.
But affiliate marketing has its drawbacks too. It takes time to develop relationships, only products and services with certain characteristics are suited for it, and the potential for scaling sales is limited.
So is it right for your business?

The business world today is moving faster than ever, and it's constantly evolving. So what worked yesterday may not work today, and what works today may not work tomorrow.
There is clear evidence of this in the recent explosion of artificial intelligence (AI) alone, with its potential to wipe out entire careers.
So what do we do?
The answer is to build a personal brand. When you have a following, those people care about your message and will make the jump to a different platform or technology or medium so it's transferrable and enduring.
Here's how to do it:
decide who your people are
decide what your message is and what value you can provide
engage with your audience in whatever way works for you continuously and consistently
