Reducing carbon emissions from transportation requires a shift to active transportation and low-carbon public transport, but getting people to break their established habits and shift away from private vehicles remains a key challenge for policy makers. Joris is a Dutch social entrepreneur whose vision is a clean and carefree mobility for all. He is my friend, my work colleague, my mentor and a father-like figure to me. He has been instrumental in developing my own purpose to help build a better and more sustainable future. He is the co-founder of Fynch Smart Mobility, an impact driven startup in The Netherlands with a mission to reduce 0.5 million metric tonnes of carbon emissions annually by 2025 by spearheading sustainable mobility behaviour change in people.
