Cynt is the CEO of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, the first black female CEO in the NBA. She has been named one of the '30 Most Powerful Women in Sports' by Adweek and one of the '15 World's Most Inspiring Leaders' by Forbes. She is a cancer survivor and a regular speaker at cancer-related events. In this book, Cynt details her path from an abusive household, racism, corporate America, and fighting stage 3 colon cancer.
