We must have a fixed focus on Christ.

1. Having our heart fixed on Christ (3:1)

2. Having our mind fixed on Christ (3:2)

3. Getting our heart and mind off the things of this world (3:2)

Why we must have a fixed focus on Christ:

1. We are no longer who we used to be (3:3)

2. We now have our identity and security in Christ (3:3)

3. We have entrusted all our eternity in Christ (3:4)
