The Africa Policy Journal interviewed Dr. Baba Jallow at the Truth Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) headquarters in the Greater Banjul region in The Gambia. Dr. Jallow is the executive secretary of the TRRC, a journalist, a professor of African History at La Salle University, and a visiting professor at the University of The Gambia. He is the author of Defying Dictatorship: Essays on Gambian Politics, 2012-2017. Dr. Jallow received his PhD in African history from the University of California, Davis.
