It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Moshe Menachem Ludmir zt”l.

Rav Moshe Menachem fell at his home on Rechov Brandeis in Yerushalayim. He was hospitalized at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where he passed away.

Rav Moshe Menachem was born in Yerushalayim and in his youth became close to the Bais Yisroel Ger.

He learned at Yeshiva Sefas Emes in Yerushalayim. He learned together with Rav Shlomo Zilberstein, rov of Ger in Bnei Brak.

He served for forty years as a rebbi at Yeshiva Mesoras Avos in Bnei Brak and Yeshiva Pnei Menachem.

His Shabbos shiurim were compiled into a sefer Yagdil Torah.

About a decade ago, he moved to Yerushalayim, where he would sit every day in the daily shiur of Rav Daniel Chaim Alter.

The levayah was held at the Gerer Bais Medrash on Rechov Yirmiyahu in Yerushalayim, then at the Shamgar funeral home, followed by kevurah on Har Hamenuchos.
