A popular Pesach program has been canceled a week before Yom Tov because, organizers say, of a “huge financial scam.”
The program, by Aryeh Hospitality, was to be held at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic County, NJ.
The organizers sent out a message stating that “It is with great pain that we are forced to notify you of this unfortunate and unprecedented situation. While the program was moving along nicely, while our dedicated team was working tirelessly to make it a true success, we were hit with a huge financial scam, and we are not sure at this point if we can continue.”
The organizers said that they are trying to find an alternative option. “
Should we be successful at it, we will notify you immediately. One of our team members will personally reach out to you B’ezras Hashem within 24 hours. Any payments that were made this morning will not be processed unless we reach a resolution. We hope to be able to share good news very soon.”
