It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Michoel Binyomin Hakohein Fuchs zt”l of Ramot, Yerushalayim. He was 77.

Rav Fuchs was a son of Rav Yitzchok Meir Fuchs. In his younger years, he learned under Rav Yitzchok Hutner zt”l.

He married his wife, a daughter of Rav Moshe Dov Weingarten.

His entire life was spent in the bais medrash. Rav Michoel Binyomin was known as one of the great masmidim of Yerushalayim. He learned at taught Torah at Lakewood East in Yerushalayim and was venerated for his hasmadah, yedios, yrias Shomayim and ahavas Hashem.

The levayah was held in Ramot and kevurah took place on Har Hamenuchos in Yerushalayim.
