It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rebbetzin Rivka Bergman a”h of Yerushalayim. She was 93.

Rebbetzin Bergman was the wife of Rav Nachum Bergman. Together, they were great machnisei orchim, hosting numerous guests – including many American bochurim from Brisk, Mir and elsewhere – every Shabbos.

Rebbetzin Bergman was a daughter Rav Yisrael Asher Wallis. On her mother’s side, she was a granddaughter of the famed maggid Rav Ben Zion Yadler.

Rebbetzin Bergman’s husband, Rav Nachum, was a noted disciple of the Brisker Rov and an outstanding talmid chochom.

As mentioned, her home in Batei Ungarin in Yerushalayim was open to one and all.

Rav Nachum was niftar fifteen years ago.
