Scripture: Luke 2:10-11, The sad fact of life is that the closer we come to achieving our goals, the farther away from happiness we become. We toil and strive yet no joys truly last. We are in a perpetual state of discontentment. So much so, that, we lie to ourselves to cover up our unhappiness. Under the guise of being "fine" we live life numb to reality. The reality of our God, however, is that He came to save the people that weren't fine: the lowly, the meek, the poor. On account of Christ, our lives are no longer an endless cycle of meaninglessness. Rather, we are gladly forgotten by the world because we are eternally remembered by our God. This is our great joy.
