Scripture: John 19:28, "I Thirst". Very ordinary words, yet profound at second glance. The one who IS living water that satisfies eternally is now thirsty. God has become truly and wholly man and is now like one of us who suffer all kinds of things including thirst. He shows us he is truly a God who is with us. He thirsts not just for water, but also for us; that we might be with him and live in love eternally.
