Scripture: Psalm 6, In the season of Lent we focus more on repentance and the road of suffering that Christ Himself walked as he went to the cross. Our sin weighs heavy upon us. We face troubles in life that always have their beginning in sin. Our brokenness spawns only more brokenness. However, our God is not a fair-weather God. He meets us in the midst of adversity and rescues us when we call out to him in repentance.
