It is easy to fall into the trap of viewing the Christmas story as some kind of fairy tale, but it is actually historical fact. Luke makes it clear that he intended to write an historical account, and he relied on eyewitnesses�including Mary.

No one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the holy spirit. It is the by Holy Spirit that Jesus is conceived within us and dwells within us. He is the true �Christmas Spirit�. The only Christmas spirit worth anything at all is the Holy Spirit.
