As a result of the AIM-HIGH study, doctors stopped recommending the use of niacin. But even the study author said it would be a mistake to stop using niacin as a result. But that's just what happened.

Part of the standard medical response is true; you can't "supplement away a bad lifestyle". But the interpretation that niacin doesn't work was wrong. Unfortunately, too many of us are still living with that mistake - and dying with it as well.
