This podcast was originally done for my AP U.S. Government and Politics class, but felt it would also be entertaining and useful to post here as well. This features special guests Jeffrey Ellis, Lily Jacobson, and Mukund Ummadisetti, some of whom have been on previous episodes. This podcast covers the recent abortion ban in Texas that prevents women past six weeks in their pregnancy from having abortions. In strict contrast with the Roe v Wade case in 1973 that dealt with an extremely similar topic, our conversation consists of analyzing both sides of the Roe v Wade argument for the purpose of setting a precedent that would be helpful in deciding the constitutionality of the recent law. (It should be mentioned that this podcast is not meant to convince listeners one way or another, or to push a specific agenda; rather, this podcast takes an informative tone to better analyze from an unbiased point of view what the Constitution says about this problem.
