The first point of Authentic Manhood is to Reject Passivity. Reject means to not accept something. Passivity means to allow things to happen. So to reject passivity means to not accept allowing things to happen.

The definition of Authentic Manhood comes from Dr Robert Lewis's "Men's Fraternity".

1 Corinthians 15:45 "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit."

Adam vs Jesus

Adam Gen 3:6 “he was with her” vs Jesus Phil 2:8 “He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death — even to death on a cross.”

David 1 Sam 17:32 “David said to Saul, “Don’t let anyone be discouraged by him; your servant will go and fight this Philistine! ”

On the football field Reject Passivity me to "GET OFF THE BALL!"

I am/will statements: As a man I will not allow bad things to happen, I will establish, build, set up. As a husband I will initiate, I must lead. I do not sit around letting things go I know are wrong. As a father I take action steps in raising my kids alongside my wife. I don't wait until it's too late. As a leader/coach I establish the culture of the team I lead.
