2020 has proven to be a very interesting time to try to launch new video game consoles, as both Microsoft and Sony are finding out.
But where Microsoft's Xbox Series X project has perhaps seemed the more focused and consumer ready since the end of last year, it's clear that properly setting consumer expectations for the product roll-out has been (and may well continue to be) a problem for both console manufacturers.
