A few children have many friends. It is no doubt good to have friends to play with during holidays or when children are in primary and middle school. It is wise to limit the number of friends when the child grows up to be a teenager and is in high school by identifying the type of friends s/he gets along with based on his/her interests, hobbies, likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses. However, some children do not know how to select their close friends and believe that everyone who talks to them politely is their friend.
