Sports writer Adam Coleman, a Houston native and, back in the day, high school cornerback, talks Texas football and other high school sports and what sports mean to the kids who live to play and the parents and fans who love to watch. Unfortunately, the wait for Friday night lights to come flickering back on will continue for another month as the University Interscholastic League this week delayed the start of high school football for another month.
