Houston bar owners had to close down their businesses for a second time in less than four months after Governor Abbott's order last week. Digital producer Alison Medley tracked down bartender Stacy Gouty at The Cottonmouth Club where the staff had sensed the difficulty of maintaining virus protocols and had decided to reclose the bar before the official order. In an interview with host Ferrill Gibbs, Gouty describes the reopening reality where big clubs "didn't follow any rules at all," making staying open harder for the smaller establishments that wanted to operate safely.
