Go ahead and circle July 31 on your calendar, Rockets fans. It looks like basketball will be back. The NBA has said from the beginning that data, not the date, will drive their decision to resume play. According to Rockets beat writer Jonathan Feigen, while it's not exactly clear what data the league might have been looking at to reach their decision, the NBA does seem to have an innovative and inventive plan to bring 22 teams together at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex outside Orlando next month to finish out the season.
