The Jacksonville Gullah Geechee Nation Community Development Corporation paid tribute to Mr. Robert "Bob" Flowers in a Park Bench Dedication Ceremony at the new "Freedom Park," located at 10946 Fort Caroline Road Jacksonville, Florida 32224, in the historic Cosmo Community. Attending this event were family, friends, educators, clergy, present and former political officials. Setting the event's tone, Bishop Kevin Hardy, Sanctuary of Praise Church of God, blessed the occasion.
