All of us from the New Stanton High School Class of 1961 are now much closer to 80 years old than we are to 70. Sixty-one years ago, we were graduating – the girls with hair pressed and curled, and the boys in their suits and shoes spit shined. We all were so happy and looking forward to college – the military – or the world of work.
