He stood on the Worlds podium twice, took Tamiya on the road to a serious assault on the racing scene, won a European Championship in the Schumacher TopCat, helped bring UK racing to the World Stage in the halcyon days of the mid-late 1980s and worked in the industry with name such as HPI, LRP, HongNor and now runs SMD Distribution.
