The Pipestone Area golf teams failed to make incursions on the top teams in the conference during Monday evening’s Big South Conference (west) events in Luverne (boys) and Windom (girls). Paced by Matt DeBates’ eighth-place round of 43 in a field of 35, the Arrows carded a fourth-best total of 180 in Luverne. The Windom Eagles, a team the Arrows have beaten, posted a team low of 168 – gaining ground via a medalist round (tie) of 39 from Carter Rossow.
