The Pipestone Area baseball team improved to 3-2 on the season with an 8-2 Big South Conference victory over the Worthington Trojans Monday evening in Worthington. Senior hurler Kellen Johnson earned the pitching victory, giving up one earned run on five hits over five innings on the bump. He struck out nine and walked three before yielding to Landon Quist in the sixth. The sophomore gave up no runs on no hits, neither striking out nor walking a batter.
