In this week’s edition we have a story about the latest proposal from a group passionate about bringing a veteran’s memorial to the community. I applaud all involved for their efforts, and think this latest site and design proposal has great merit. Like most people, I’ve always been in favor of building a memorial in Pipestone and think now is the time. I’m asking the Pipestone City Council to give strong consideration and approval to the group’s request for some space at Moore Park to construct this memorial to the bravest amongst us.
