It looked like the Pipestone Economic Development Authority’s (EDA) efforts to spur sales of lots at Southwest Acres by reducing the prices from ,000 and ,000 to ,000 earlier this year had worked. At one point, it appeared that three lots would be sold. Then two of the interested buyers withdrew their offers and the EDA voted during its June 20 meeting not to sell the third lot.
