Pipestone Area School (PAS) Board members during their Aug. 28 meeting ratified the sale of ,315,000 in general obligation school building bonds and 0,000 in capital facilities bonds that took place on Aug. 23. According to information presented by Steve Pumper, senior vice president with PMA Securities, the school district received five bids for the bonds. The low bidder was Robert W. Baird & Co., Inc. with a true interest cost of 3.3105 percent. The bid included a premium of 4,645, bringing the total amount received from the sale to ,959,645. The funds will be available Sept. 20.
