SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Sioux City Relays are one of the most storied events in the region, a celebration of track and field with athletes from seventh grade through college competing. The meet is conducted annually at Olsen Stadium, with Morningside University serving as the host. Dordt University’s Micah Schaap, a former Southwest Minnesota Christian/Edgerton standout, took the gold medal in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 45-feet, 6 1/4-inches (or 13.87 meters).
